Beginners
The men’s beginner lessons are designed to help students learn the basics of reading. Class teachers will assist the students in these lesson as they progress through the ‘Iqra books’ starting from learning the Arabic Alphabet and up until they are able to read from the Quran with basic Tajweed.
These lessons are held every Thursday night from 5:30pm – 7:00pm Masjid As-Salaam.
Intermediate & Memorisation
The men’s intermediate/ memorisation Lessons are designed to help students take the next step in the Quran journey. In these lesson students will further develop their Tajweed as well as begin/ continue their journey of memorising the Quran.
These lessons are held every Thursday night from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at Masjid As-Salaam.
Beginners
The women’s beginner lessons are designed to help students learn the basics of reading. Students will learn the Arabic alphabet, how letters are joined and eventually work their way to reading works and sentences.
These lessons are held every Friday morning from 10:30am – 12:00pm at Masjid As-Salaam.
Intermediate
The women’s intermediate Lesson are designed to help students learn the basics of Tajweed and therefore further helping them on their journey to reading the Quran as the Prophet of Allah did.
These lessons are held every Monday morning from 9:30am – 11:00am at Masjid As-Salaam.
Boys and Girls Beginners
The boys’ and girls’ beginner lessons are designed to help students learn the basics of reading. Class teachers will assist the students in these lesson as they progress through the ‘Iqra books’ starting from learning the Arabic Alphabet and up until they are able to read from the Quran with basic Tajweed.
These lessons are held every Thursday night from 5:30pm – 7:00pm Masjid As-Salaam.
Girls’ memorisation
The girl’s memorisation lessons are designed to assist the students as the progress through their memorisation journey. The class teacher will assist the students as they progress throughout the Quran, giving them tips to improve their recitation skills and hopefully assist them to become memorises of the Quran.
