Contact form submissions: When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content to respond to your enquiry.

Newsletter subscriptions: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address and optionally your name.

Member registration: If you create a member account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and address to manage your membership and facilitate community programs.

Event registrations: When you register for events or programs, we collect the information required to process your registration.

AI chatbot interactions: Conversations with Walid, our AI assistant, are processed and logged for safety and quality purposes (see AI Chatbot section below).

Usage data: We automatically collect standard web server logs including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used for site security and performance monitoring only.

Our website includes Walid, an AI assistant powered by Anthropic’s Claude model. Walid is governed by Tork Network — an AI governance layer that automatically detects and redacts personally identifiable information (PII) from conversations before they are processed or stored.

What is detected and redacted: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, financial information, health data, and 50+ other PII categories are automatically identified and removed.

Audit logs: Anonymised interaction logs are retained for safety monitoring and AI quality improvement. These logs do not contain your personal information after redaction.

Voice features: If you use the voice input or text-to-speech features, audio is processed by OpenAI Whisper and is not stored after transcription.

Please do not share sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, or medical data) in the chatbot.

Our website uses cookies for the following purposes:

• Authentication: Session cookies are used to keep you logged in to the member portal and admin area. These are essential and cannot be disabled while using those features.
• Theme preference: A cookie stores your light/dark mode preference (stored in localStorage).

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS in Australia) and our website is hosted on Vercel. Both services use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest).

Access to personal data is restricted to authorised administrators and is protected by multi-factor authentication.

Under Australian Privacy Law (Privacy Act 1988), you have the right to:

• Access personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner
